Shipping Insurance Policy

WrapCrafters Shipping Insurance Policy

At WrapCrafters, we take pride in delivering your order securely and in excellent condition. While we carefully package every item, unexpected circumstances during transit can occasionally occur. To provide additional peace of mind, we offer optional Shipping Insurance at checkout. By purchasing this insurance, you gain access to limited protection against certain types of shipping-related issues, subject to the terms outlined below.

Coverage Provided

Shipping Insurance offers coverage for the following situations:

  • Lost Packages:

If your order is confirmed as shipped but never arrives, and the carrier cannot provide final delivery, you may be eligible to file a claim.

  • Stolen Packages:

If tracking indicates “delivered” but the package cannot be located at the delivery address, claims may be filed for theft.

  • Damaged Orders:

If items arrive in a condition that renders them unusable due to damage during transit (such as tearing, crushing, or water damage), you may submit a claim.

Please note that coverage applies only to the products themselves, not to outer shipping cartons, wrapping materials, or cosmetic imperfections that do not affect use.

Exclusions and Limitations

Shipping Insurance does not extend to every shipping issue. The following are specifically excluded from coverage:

  • Delivery delays caused by carriers, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances outside our control.

  • Customer input errors, including incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses entered at checkout.

  • Cosmetic packaging damage (dents, scuffs, or marks on boxes or mailers that do not affect the condition of the product).

  • International shipments, as WrapCrafters Shipping Insurance applies only to domestic U.S. orders.

  • Third-party handling (including reshippers, forwarding services, or other carriers outside USPS/UPS).

  • Unauthorized recipients where tracking shows the package was delivered successfully.

WrapCrafters reserves the right to deny claims that fall outside of these covered categories, or when sufficient evidence of damage, loss, or theft is not provided.

Filing a Claim

To ensure fair processing, all claims must be submitted within 72 hours of the package being marked as “delivered” in carrier tracking systems. Claims for lost packages must be made within 72 hours of the expected delivery date shown in tracking.

When submitting a claim, customers must provide the following:

  • Order number and customer name

  • Photos of the damaged product(s) and, when possible, the packaging materials and shipping label

  • A written description of the issue

Incomplete claims, or claims filed after the 72-hour marked "delivered" period, may not be accepted.

Resolution of Claims

WrapCrafters evaluates each claim individually and, at our sole discretion, may offer one of the following resolutions:

  1. Replacement of the same or comparable product, subject to availability

  2. Store credit for the value of the affected item(s)

  3. Refund of the purchase price

We reserve the right to determine the most appropriate resolution method for each claim. Refunds and replacements may be limited to the original purchase price and do not include shipping or insurance fees. Multiple claims from the same customer may also be subject to additional review or denial.

Additional Terms

Shipping Insurance is optional and must be purchased at the time of checkout. By purchasing insurance, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms stated herein. Insurance coverage applies to a single order only and is not transferable. WrapCrafters does not guarantee approval of all claims, and the decision of WrapCrafters in any claim matter is final.
